    About The Bean

This coffee originates from the Shewa-Jibabu sub-farm of the Gesha Village Coffee Estate in Ethiopia. The Gori Gesha variety, named after the Gori Gesha Forest, is cultivated at elevations ranging from 1973 to 2069 meters above sea level. The natural processing method involves sun-drying the whole cherries on raised African beds for 18 to 30 days, enhancing the coffee's vibrant and clean profile. The farm, established by Rachel Samuel and Adam Overton in 2011, spans 471 hectares, with 320 hectares dedicated to coffee cultivation. Their mission was to revive the legendary Ethiopian Gesha coffee variety, and today, the farm is divided into eight distinct sub-farms, each contributing to the unique characteristics of their coffees.
